Technician working on appliance repair

Terms of Service

Terms for using our website and requesting appliance repair services.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Scope of these terms

These terms describe use of the TrueFix website and the service-request process. Specific repair work, pricing and service-specific terms are set out in the applicable estimate, authorization and invoice. Submitting an inquiry does not, by itself, authorize repairs or create a confirmed appointment.

You must be legally able to authorize the requested service or act with the permission of the person entitled to do so. Please provide accurate contact, equipment and service-address information.

2. Requests, availability and appointments

Sending a request does not reserve an appointment. TrueFix confirms coverage and your visit time separately.

Same-day technician visits are our standard service, with next-day scheduling also available. Our team confirms your visit time after you contact us or send a service request.

A submission confirmation means that your request was delivered for handling, not that a team member has read it or accepted a visit time. If delivery is uncertain, contact us before submitting the same request again. A same-day visit does not guarantee same-day repair completion; diagnosis, access and parts availability may affect timing.

Service-area information and address suggestions are for guidance. We confirm availability for your address, equipment and requested work before arranging the visit. Contact us promptly if you need to cancel, reschedule or correct your request. Any applicable cancellation or other charges must be disclosed and agreed as required by law; submitting the website form does not itself impose a cancellation fee.

3. Diagnostics, estimates and authorization

Our diagnostic fee starts at $199. It is applied toward the repair, so the separate diagnostic fee is waived when we carry out the repair.

The diagnostic amount also serves as the minimum labor charge. For a minor issue, the complete repair may cost around $200; the final price depends on the work and parts required.

A complete diagnosis means an accurately identified fault and a clear repair estimate. You review and approve the estimate before repair work begins.

Website descriptions and starting prices are general information, not a final quote for every repair. The scope, parts, labor and applicable charges must be confirmed for your job. Additional work or changes to an approved estimate require your authorization as required by applicable law. The applicable estimate and invoice identify the agreed payment terms.

4. Access and safety

Please arrange authorized, safe access to the equipment and tell us about relevant building rules, parking restrictions, hazards or access limitations. Work may need to be postponed if it cannot be performed safely or if access or authorization is unavailable.

The website and request form are not emergency services. If you suspect a gas leak, fire or another immediate danger, move to a safe location and contact emergency services or the relevant utility. Do not wait for a response to an online request. General website information is not a substitute for an on-site diagnosis or a reason to attempt hazardous repairs.

5. Warranty and service plans

Our standard warranty covers labor and installed parts for 1 year. The applicable terms are stated on your invoice and may differ for specific repairs.

Contact us with your invoice or service reference and a description of the problem if you believe warranty service is needed. Any service-specific terms must comply with applicable law. Nothing in these website terms excludes or reduces warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Individually arranged plans include multiple complimentary service visits over an agreed period and may be offered as a bonus with your current repair. Visit allowances and other terms are agreed individually. Plan visits are separate from repair-warranty visits.

6. Privacy and third-party features

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy. Submit only information needed to arrange service; do not include payment-card details, passwords or security access codes in the online form.

Address suggestions use Google Maps features and are subject to the Google Maps Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Check the full address and ZIP code before confirming. You may enter the address manually instead.

External links and third-party features are provided for convenience. Their availability and content are controlled by their respective providers.

7. Website content and images

TrueFix website text, design and original visual materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law to the extent such protection applies. You may view the site and use its information to evaluate or request our services. Other reproduction or commercial use requires permission unless permitted by law. Third-party names, trademarks and logos remain the property of their respective owners; their appearance does not imply manufacturer affiliation or endorsement.

Our service and promotional imagery includes original visuals created by the business owner and processed using AI tools. These images are illustrative and should not be understood as records of a particular customer, technician, property or completed repair unless expressly identified as such. An illustration does not establish service coverage or a guaranteed result.

8. Acceptable use and website availability

Do not misuse the website, submit fraudulent requests, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software or interfere with its operation. We may restrict misuse to protect the service and other users.

Website information is provided for general guidance. Although we aim to keep it accurate and available, errors, interruptions and changes may occur. Please confirm details relevant to your repair with our team. These statements concern the website and do not remove obligations under an agreed repair contract or applicable law.

9. Questions, disputes and your legal rights

If you have a question or concern about a service, contact [email protected] or call +1-213-537-5111, with your service reference if available, so we can review it.

Nothing in these terms waives non-waivable consumer rights, limits liability where prohibited by law, or prevents you from contacting a regulator or seeking remedies available under applicable law. These website terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to these terms

Updates will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date. Changes do not retroactively alter agreed repair terms or accrued rights. Any change to an existing service agreement requires the notice or agreement required by applicable law.
