01

Customer Complaint and Possible Causes

The customer reported that some burners on the Viking stove did not work at all, while others continued clicking after ignition. Potential causes for these symptoms typically include faulty individual igniters, a malfunctioning spark module, or wiring issues between the spark module and the burners.

02

Diagnosis and Findings

We checked the flame sense and found it inoperable on burners that still ignited via auto-ignition. We also inspected the wiring from the spark module to the igniters and confirmed it was in working order. We identified that the igniters on two non-working burners were defective and that the central spark module controlling all six burners had failed.

03

Repair Performed

We replaced the central spark module and installed two OEM ignition kits for the faulty igniters using OEM Viking parts.

04

Verification and Outcome

We observed all six burners operating properly after component replacement, confirming that the ignition issue was successfully resolved.
