01

Customer Complaint and Possible Causes

The customer stated that the main oven was not working properly. When a range oven acts up like this, it is usually caused by a bad electronic ignition control, faulty wiring in the power supply circuit, or a blocked gas burner.

02

Diagnosis and Findings

We checked the power supply circuit and the wiring for the main oven ignition module. We found that the DSI controller module was bad, causing the bake igniter to keep clicking after ignition. We also checked the electrical circuit and gas supply for the broil burner and found that pieces of thermal insulation material had fallen inside and completely blocked the gas flow. Additionally, we noticed the cooktop burner ignition system was working unstably with uneven flames because of grease buildup and clogged burner ports.

03

Repair Performed

We replaced the oven ignition control module with a new one to fix the bake cycle issue. We then cleared out the insulation material that was blocking the gas output on the broil burner. We also cleaned the grease off the cooktop burners and cleared their burner ports to get the flames burning evenly again.

04

Verification and Outcome

After finishing the repairs, we tested the range and confirmed that all oven and cooktop functions were operating normally in standard mode.
